History of Blogging and Blog Today


The blog first appeared on the web at the end of 1990, no one could preach that they would experience tremendous growth over the next few years.

Blogs started out as a simple, user-friendly for people to publish online and regularly update their thoughts and points of view, the information that is relevant to their readers, and links to other websites. However, these early blogs were mostly produced by people with a lot of programming knowledge and adapts to a limited audience of technically minded people.

Finally, in 1999 an easy to use online application called blogging bloggers made available to anyone, and this new technology really started to take off. When Google bought Blogger in 2003, powerful, search engine the popularity of blogging as an online future for millions of people. The number of blogs on the internet and blogs rose officially become an online phenomenon.

Blogging had arrived and arrived with a bang!

Since then, blogging has continued to grow by leaps and bounds to become increasingly popular over time. There are no signs of slowing down this trend amazing. Here are some statistics about the blog

* The search for "blog" on Google in November 2005 revealed 475 million results

* Blog Directory Technorati was following more than 21 million blogs by November 2005

* A new blog is created every second

* Bloggers to add more than 33,000 new posts every hour

Also the boys are all united in Big Internet Yahoo, MSN and AOL are all united in making Google Blogger blogging for the masses.

The result of this explosion blog is that everyone from millionaires to work-at-home mum to carpenter to the directors of Fortune 500 companies can now have their own blog.

So what is the new age blog?

A blog can be a stand-alone site or part of a larger site that consists of short articles of pieces of information that typically contain links to other relevant articles or web site.

These posts are written by the site owner or a person responsible on a regular basis with the most recent post appearing at the top of the page. Blogging software automatically archives each post by date by category and often, it's easy to find older posts. This inversion of chronological and archiving content automatically makes blogs different from regular websites.

Another difference is that the commenting system common to most of the blog that allows bloggers to have conversations with their readers, allowing visitors to submit their comments or views on issues under discussion.

Blogging allows anyone and everyone to have a line item, no matter what is their level of technical knowledge. This influx of fresh voice on the internet combined with open communication, so blogging has helped stop the web from being dominated by large companies.

Blogs have become flexible tools with many different uses. The most important thing, for our purposes - Blogs have become a very effective business tool. Both online and offline business can use blogs to make their products and services to a wider audience, increasing their traffic, leads and sales. There are even bloggers today whose sole source of income comes from blogging.
