Create RSS Feeds for your site and view RSS Feed

You know that you can create RSS feed for your static website? But first, we try to understand why you need an RSS feed.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. In the past, there is no way for a web visitor to get the latest content from a website. For example, you know a blog that publishes new content on a regular basis. But you are not sure when the content will be published online as there is no fixed time of publication. If you want to know if the new content is published, you will have to bookmark the site and revisit the site to check for updates manually.

Of course, check for updates manually is very inefficient. By the time you see your content, you may already be old news. Of course, you can always rely on search engines for the latest content. But search engines have a timetable for the scanning of sites. In other words, yet will not always be real-time updates.

To overcome this problem, RSS is developed. RSS is a content that is organized in XML format. This means that instead of being content displayed in HTML (which is suitable for web browsers), links, page titles and summaries are published in a fixed format - XML. This format is very different from HTML. Do not worry about presentation. Its primary function is to provide the links. So if you have an RSS feed on your site, meaning that anyone can grab your feed and be updated on the latest bonds, when it becomes available.

RSS feeds are displayed in the display of feed aggregators. You will need one if you want the content of a feed to make sense to you. With an RSS aggregator, you can subscribe to any feeds you meet. As soon as there's an update, you can see the changes in your feed aggregator. You can set your aggregator to check for changes at regular intervals. This works much the same as your email software. For example, you can configure your email software to check for new mail every 5 minutes.

Now that you understand how you feed, you can publish a feed on your website to collect benefits. How do you do?

The fastest way to publish a feed is to use a CMS with a built-in RSS feature. For example, if you set up a website with WordPress, the site will have a feed automatically. You can then publicize your RSS feed on the Internet.

However, if you do not use any CMS, you will have to rely on generator power tools to publish XML feeds. Fortunately, there are free RSS builder of online tools. Here's how it works.

Enter the URL of your static web site into manufacturer's RSS. You will be prompted to select the link that will be included in the feed. Once you are happy with the preview, you can generate the feed. You can then promote the URL of the feed on your website .......
