The Ethics of Friendship
I like to think we live in an ideal and perfect world where all people are good. However, it is not. But instead, away from all negativity, the reality is that there are more good people than bad and there are excellent environments to meet people with values: the university, volunteering in general, anywhere. In fact, far from bleak panorama showing the media the truth is that the reality of everyday life, has little or nothing to do with programs I'd rather not mention.
Life is more beautiful, and fortunately, ethics is still an important asset for many people. In fact, it is essential to clarify that although many people believe that ethics is only linked with religious values, the reality is no. In other words, ethics refers simply to the right to act based on principles which are human. Ethics is important in any field, ie at work but also personally.
Therefore, one can act against the right to work when you use or manipulate another person. Thomas Aquinas and explained that there are friendships based on utility, as such, can not be defined true friendship because a person never has a value of means but the end in itself. On the other hand, you can also do harm to others playing with their illusions, for example, generate illusions of love when another person unnecessarily.
Even though many people believe that infidelity is wrong (and actually is), the reality is that there are other points in between where a person who is committed to doing evil can shamelessly flirting with each other. In fact, someone can become illusion with another person without actually materializing the act.
In life it is important to go for people who have ethics. Not sold and who believe that human dignity is priceless. Happiness in life depends on you but also people around you. Therefore, it is best bet for people who really makes you feel good, true, I respect and appreciate you. No doubt the ethics of personal relationships is also the fact to apologize when you're wrong or say thank you when someone has helped you. It's nice to trust people but let this act is based on prudence.
