Pesticide poisoning
Pesticide poisoning is one of the most common accidents that occur among children, and is home to the most dangerous place for this type of events, in fact is a major cause of consultation in the Emergency Sevices, and unfortunately this type of accident has resulted in the death of many children worldwide.
The inquiring mind of children and ignorance of the dangers around them makes them a population at high risk for poisoning, especially if there are children below 6 years of age. The main types of pesticides include insecticides, herbicides, rodenticides and fumigants, all of them highly toxic.
In practice, the most commonly used, at least at home, are spray insecticides and rodenticides MECL with food, usually people usually leave them on the ground in different parts of the house. The pathways for poisoning include: by inhalation, skin contact, or the most common and serious of all, if swallowed.
But what are the main facts that can make you suspect a pesticide poisoning?

To make matters worse there may be alterations in the levels of sugar in the blood and other vital elements like sodium and potassium, as you see the situation is not easy for a child poisoned by pesticides.
For all these reasons I want from you today to present the 5 key to your child avoid accidents with pesticides.
1. The plaguicisas are considered highly toxic elements and therefore should be handled by a responsible adult.
2. For the above reason a pesticide can never be available to any child.
