Encourage creativity and intelligence of children
All kids are smart to your ways. Innate skills and creativity should be encouraged and stimulated to reach their full potential. Young children learn best through tactile experience, an experience that stimulates the imagination and makes use of their natural curiosity and skills.
As parents, you must learn to provide the necessary support to help in a harmonious growth.
Parents have a key role in the education of children, a more important role than teachers or teachers because they are the ones that can be evaluated as early as possible, your child's skills and work on the development of intelligence.
Once we have determined the level of their intelligence, we can continue to encourage their strengths and work on developing weaknesses. Parents and teachers can easily create an environment that stimulates creativity and curiosity of the child, without being necessary to have large amounts of money, toys and auxiliary materials.
Howard Gardner has identified seven forms of development and intelligence should be encouraged by parents, teachers, visual-spatial, physical-motor, interpersonal and intrapersonal language, music, and logical-mathematical.
While the linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligence are generally associated with intelligence are considered the other talents.
Gardner believes that the seven are equally important and every child has all these types of multiple intelligences in a single model.
Encourage creative exploration of the seven fields, the children will feel safer when it comes to new activities or combine elements from different areas in the activity itself.
Here are some ways to encourage creativity in all fields: linguistic intelligence can be fostered through games of words spoken or written, such as: search for rhymes, stories, writing early, and so on.
It's good to have many books and magazines at home or take your child to the library regularly
Encourage him to write a diary of daily activities and the discoveries made to read aloud then.
Let him listen to foreign languages, make the word games like Scrabble or invent new words.
Logical-mathematical intelligence
To stimulate the logical-mathematical child to play with colors, shapes and sizes, such as having yellow objects in the room or count objects in a certain way. Will be happy to solve puzzles or games like chess.
The musical development is encouraged to listen to different genres of music, playing and playing different musical instruments even keep pace with the beats with your hands on some hard surfaces. Watch movies together and talk about how the filmmakers made specific use of musical effects to convey different messages. Encourage them to create their own songs using various household items (glasses, for example).
To stimulate their physical-motor, try to dance with him, different genres of music, encourage them to play sports, let your child feel the items, leave manipulate and create objects, sew or cook or build models of their imagination.
There are many techniques to enhance visual-spatial intelligence. For example: drawing, painting, collage, textiles, mosaics and sculptures.
Interpersonal intelligence (the ability to relate) This form of intelligence can be stimulated by any form of interaction with others. Ensure that children interact with children his own age, who play together, study together, or develop various activities together. Encourage them to explore different points of view of a situation or to see how others would be affected by their actions.
Intrapersonal intelligence (self-knowledge) can be encouraged through discussion with children about what they like and dislike, asking at the same time arguments. Encourage the child to ask questions about the decisions taken during the day. Teach them realize their own strengths and weaknesses.
